Only one song by a given artist per hour, unless doing a double-play or similar
Never play any given song more than once per hour
Never talk over more than the first or last 15 seconds of any song
Never talk over lyrics
Lead in and out with the station call letters
An announcement or clip should separate songs in most cases (~95%)
Always ID within 3 minutes of the top of the hour
When IDing, use a pre-recorded clip; or say the call letters, frequency, community of licence, and time
Always screen callers before putting them on the air
Whenever possible, record calls and play them back on the air in preference to putting them on live
Say the time and temp often
