Formula
KRAP's playlist can be broken down into two categories: "hits" and "filler"
Filler is music that is and was well-known, well-liked, or highly-requested in the past weeks, months, or years. It is played between hits to prevent listener burnout and add variety.
Hits are songs that have been chosen from the Billboard Top 20 chart for each genre, as well as from KRAP's request logs and other sources. These songs are weighted more heavily in the playlists, since they are considered to be more popular than the "filler".
All music in the KRAP library is required to pass music approval before it may be played on the air.
