Definition

Creative Marketing Concepts, or CMC for short, is a printing and advertising company in Mora, Minnesota. Their plant on Jade Street produces everything from mass-mailings to animated Web graphics. CMC is the area's largest producer of printed matter, and is also among its largest employers.

The company is also commonly referred to as Carlson Marketing, since its owner is a man by the name of Fred Carlson.

Contributions to Kidsnet

Three CMC employees (Josh Carlson, Jeremy Swanson, and David Cater) had been involved with Kidsnet in 2005 and 2006. They were responsible for the MODSQUAD program, which taught patrons how to assemble their own PCs and yielded the five custom boxes in use in the Mora lab; taught graphics design classes from time to time; and were solely responsible for network maintainence during spring and summer 2006.
